Top Ben & Jery’s Flavours 2023

As 2023 comes to an end, we're taking a flavourful stroll down memory lane to scoop out some of our most loved Ben & Jerry’s pints and filling you in on the iconic history of their inception.

The Classics

  1. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

It may be hard to believe, but putting cookie dough in ice cream hasn’t always been a thing. In fact — not to brag— we kind of started the whole cookie dough ice cream thing.

No one is surprised that Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is still our most loved flavour after almost 40 years, but you may be surprised to hear that the idea to mix cookie dough into our vanilla ice cream came from an anonymous fan in Vermont!

Wherever you are right now, we owe it all to you anon.

  2. Choc Fudge Brownie

Folks face the ultimate dilemma every year—ice cream or brownie? Enter Ben & Jerry's Choc Fudge Brownie, the year-round go-to for those refusing to pick sides!

Perfecting the brownie and ice cream combo wasn’t as simple as we hoped, but we’re lucky that we've had Greyston Bakery by our side for the past 25 years to help.

Greyston Bakery is as committed to providing jobs and eliminating barriers to employment as it is to create world-class gourmet brownies. Their groundbreaking Open Hiring® policy means anyone who wants a job will get a chance to work. There are no background checks and no pre-screening of any kind. When a position becomes available, the next person on the waiting list gets it, no questions asked!

The proof is in the pint. Chocolate Fudge Brownie is, and remains, one of the most beloved flavours we’ve ever made.

  3. Half-Baked

What happens when you mix our top two flavours together? You get this icon.

Half Baked got its name from the fact that the cookie dough in it is unbaked – hence 'dough' – but the fudge brownies are baked. It's literally half baked!

An undisputed late-night MVP. This flavour delivered big chunks and mega satisfaction in 2023 as it does every year.
