The Original Crazy Idea
Without our amazing, ice-cream-obsessed fans, Jerry and Ben’s decision to turn a Burlington gas station into a Scoop Shop all those years ago would have just been a blip on the ice cream radar. But, wow, people came, had a little taste of euphoria, told their friends—and soon there were lines out the door.
A Critical Customer Connection
But we’ve learned that some fans of Ben & Jerry’s aren’t content to simply eat the ice cream. No, they’re the folks who dream about ice cream, who concoct the wildest, most imaginative combos in their kitchens late at night, and who are struck with flavor brilliance in the most unlikely moments. In other words, they’re our ice cream soul mates. And we love it. After all, flavors like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Chubby Hubby only exist because of forehead-smackingly great suggestions from customers who love, and think about, ice cream as much as we do.
Fantasy Flavours
Of course, not every flavour suggestion we receive will become the next Cherry Garcia. We get A LOT of ideas sent our way, and while some of them sound ridiculously delicious, others are just hilarious. But hey, we know from experience that sometimes the craziest ideas turn out to the best. So with that in mind, here’s a list of the 25 funniest suggestions we’ve ever received. Maybe these will inspire you to concoct a fantasy flavour of your own!
